For me, it all begins and ends with the idea. The core concept of a story is paramount; everything else—actors, directors, producers—can change, but the central focus should remain unwavering. From concept to completion: My writing recipe
My writing process is like a recipe, simple yet potent, always centered around the idea. First, the idea itself is everything; nothing else truly matters as much. When crafting treatments, it's all about the details—showing the basic direction and potential of your TV show. I often envision the entire arc from the outset, knowing if it's a 5-season show, 4 seasons, or even beyond 9 or 12 seasons. This foresight ensures a cohesive and expansive narrative from the very first draft.
Genres that ignite the imagination
I find my passion in writing about gods and goddesses, science fiction, fantasy, monsters, angels and demons, vampires, werewolves, and time travel. My aim is to make people think, to inspire them to say, "What a cool show or movie, there's nothing like this on TV or in film." I believe I am a diamond in the rough, distinct from the mainstream. I have no desire to create mindless action films or typical fare. I seek to bring back good storytelling in film and TV, and I believe I can be a part of that return to quality narratives.
